Korb, Erzsébet 1899 - 1925
Oszkár Glatz's pupil at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts between 1917 and 1919, she later became the pupil of István Réti. However, she did not complete her training at the Academy. She participated in the exhibition of the National Salon as a mere seventeen year old with no less than three paintings. In the autumn of 1919 she shared a studio with Vilmos Aba-Novák and Károly Patkó. She set out on a study tour of Italy in the spring of 1924, and an exhibition of her work opened in May of the following year. Her memorial exhibition was held in the Ernst Museum in March of 1927.
