Szantrucsek, Jenő München, 1903 - 1965
He was born as the son of a Bohemian glass painter in Munich where he attended the School of Applied Arts and studied goldsmith's craft. He became a pupil of Adolf Fényes after moving to Hungary. He worked in Nagybánya in the summers and became a pupil of János Vaszary at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. He was a member of UME and KUT. In 1929 and 1931 he spent several months in Paris where his works were exhibited. After 1935 he earned his living mostly as an commercial artist, while in 1943 and 1944 he worked as a painter and art teacher in Athens.
