Szablya-Frischauf, Ferenc Budapest, 1867 - 1962, Keszthely
After a year spent at the Model School of Drawing he studied with Simon Hollósy in Munich, and worked in Nagybánya from 1898. He opened a free school in Budapest in 1902, and then established the KÉVE association with his students in 1907. He worked mainly in applied arts in the following years. He was a teacher at the School of Applied Art from 1912, and its principle between 1938 and 1943. He was the vice-president of the National Association for the Applied Arts, and the editor of the journal Hungarian Applied Art.
