Festő, grafikus. Mikus Gyula tanította rajzolni 14 éves korában. 1957-ben rövid ideig Pap Gyula növendéke volt a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán. A Kirakatrendező Iskola után végül 1965-ben diplomázott az Iparművészeti Főiskolán, ahol tanárai Z. Gács György, Ridovics László és Szentiványi Lajos voltak. Harmadéves korától járt Korniss Dezsőhöz, akit igazi mesterének tart. 1968-ban tanulmányutat tett Nyugat-Európában. Művészetében az absztrakt-expresszionista szemlélettől a pop arton keresztül eljutott egy olyan sajátos kifejezésformáig, melyben a legkülönbözőbb anyagokat és technikákat alkalmazza a xeroxtól, írógéptől kezdve a plakáton, filmen, képeslapokon át a gumibélyegzőig. Itthoni (Kiscelli Múzeum, Műcsarnok, Szombathely) és külföldi (Berlin, Köln, New York) kiállításainak mindig komoly visszhangja volt. Több mint húsz éve Kölnben él.
