Festő. Tanulmányait a Mintarajziskolában, majd Bécsben, végül a müncheni Képzőművészeti Akadémián folytatta, Wagner Sándor tanítványaként. Főleg vallásos tárgyú műveket készített, de festett portrékat és életképeket is. Nagy hatással volt rá Benczúr Gyula, akinek tanársegédje volt a művész mesteriskolájában. Számos kiállításon vett részt, a többi közt a Műcsarnokban. Művei megtalálhatóak a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában, több városháza dísztermében és a Szent István Bazilikában is.
