Fonó (Fleischer), Lajos Budapest, 1889 - ?, USA
After graduating as a chemical engineer at the Technical University of Budapest, Fonó went to the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Oszkár Glatz. Later he was a pupil of Károly Patkó and Vilmos Aba-Novák. In 1925, together with Aba-Novák, he founded a paint factory where he took up a post as director.
