Barkász, Lajos Hódmezővásárhely, 1884 - 1960, Budapest
He studied at the Pattern Drawing School of Budapest before working in Máramarossziget as an art teacher. From 1904 his work was shown at the National Salon. In 1926 he took part in the founding of the Hódmezővásárhely Artists Society and was later chairman of the Hungarian Artists Association.
