Study

Kozmikus bizonytalanság

A Bizonytalanság című kompozíció a sokat látott, évtizedekig marginalizált, főleg nemzetközi közönség számára dolgozó festő izgalmas történelmi látomása. Korga György nem osztotta sok kortársa optimista derűlátását, inkább tartott a szocializmus nehéz örökségének gyilkos természetétől. A rendszerváltás allegorikus víziója egyfajta szürreális haláltáncként bontakozik ki, a csillagfényes, airbrush pisztollyal szórt, kozmikus mennyország (bal oldal) és a kommunizmus emblematikus figuráival teli kárhozottak pokla között (jobb oldal). A központi, Kádár János karikaturisztikus vonásait viselő férfialak felemelt talpán vörös csillagok, lábát piros szalagok veszik körbe, agg testét vérfoltos tóga fedi, hátravetett fejéről lecsúszik az eltorzított MDF-jelvénnyel dekorált csákó. Mellette kukoricaszárba húzott, sci-fibe illő, kiborg férfi bukik hátra, tehetetlen bábként, bal robotkezében nemzeti trikolórt lengetve. Tágra nyitott szemű, élettelen arcvonásai távolról az akkori miniszterelnök, Antall József vonásait idézik. A robot mögött egy halott Krisztust – politikai kontextusban az elbukott hazát – sirató Szűz Mária látható.

A kommunizmus kísértete

A hatalmas bohóc háta mögött egy leplekbe burkolózott férfi tűnik fel, a kommunizmus kísértete. Mögötte, vagyis a kép jobb szélén tárul föl a forradalmi diktatúra sötét természete: vöröscsillag-homlokú macskaszemek alatt Marx, Engels, Lenin és Sztálin jellegzetes figurája bontakozik ki. Rákosi Mátyás jól ismert fotóról kölcsönzött tartással figyeli a kezét, de nem az ujjai között tartott búzakalászt, hanem az arca elől leemelt Kádár-maszkot. Fejfák erdeje és szögesdrótok jelzi a szovjet rendszer elnyomó természetét. Lenin nem csak érmekről és zászlókról ismert profilképként jelenik meg, hanem földön kiterített hullaként is, amint biomorf, felnagyított bőrfelületnek tűnő talaj takarja el, jelezve, hogy a forradalom miként falja fel gyermekeit. Korga festménye mintha a Himnusz pesszimista nemzetképét („szabadság nem virul a holtnak véréből”) aktualizálta volna a posztkommunizmus formálódó, képlékeny korszakára.

A rendszerváltás hamis reménye

Korga látomásához a sci-fi illusztrációkhoz illő, szürnaturalista nyelvezetet használta, ami az 1960-as évek elején éppen azért született meg, mert a fiatal magyar festők megpróbáltak kibújni a valóságábrázolás didaktikus, szocreál keretrendszeréből. Az artisztikus elkenésekkel, visszakaparásokkal és cuppantásokkal kialakított örvénylő felület képes volt arra, hogy felszabadítsa a tudatalattit, hogy a szürrealizmus igazságkeresésével ábrázolja a valóságot. Korgának meg is gyűlt a baja a hatalommal, Aczél György személyesen gondoskodott marginalizálásáról kezdeti sikerei után. Ugyanezzel a szürnaturalista kifejezőeszközzel három évtizeddel később a rendszerváltó elit hurráoptimizmusa mögötti kísérteties posztkommunista realitást mutatta be. De nem az utókor nézőpontjából, visszatekintve fogalmazta meg kritikáját, hanem – ritka módon – a korszak tanújaként, benne az események sűrűjében.
