Ralph B. Strassburger neves telivér tenyésztő Normandia Farm-járól származott a francia díjnyertes Worden. Felmenőit egészen az 1800-as évek második feléig visszamenőleg számon tartják. Jó néhány győzelmet aratott Franciaországban és Olaszországban, majd 1953-ban megnyerte a Washington D.C. International Cup-ot, mely akkoriban a legrangosabb versenynek számított, ahol Észak-Amerika és Európa legjobbjai mérhették össze tudásukat. Értékét 92 970 dollárra becsülték.
