A freelance visual artist living in France, franyo aatoth arrived in Paris in 1978 with the support of Victor Vasarely, where he studied at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. His work has been exhibited on four continents.
Paris, Budapest, New York, Chicago, Ulaanbaatar, Beijing, Canton, Bangkok… the list is long.
His early "Red Period," clearly inspired by his travels in Mongolia, was followed by visual expressions of social criticism infused with sarcastic humor, often leaning towards Neo-Dada.
In 2016, he built an artist studio in the Thai jungle, where he continous to work today. The immediate proximity of nature has opened a new direction in his artistic practice.
