Share Szolnay, Sándor 's profie

Festő, grafikus. Az I. világháború miatt csak két évet végzett a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán. Háborús élményeiről több rajzot és vázlatot készített. 1921-ben Nagybányára ment, ahol főiskolás mestere, Réti István és Thorma János tanítványa volt. 1927-ben a Nagybányai Festők Társaságának törzstagjává választották, részt vett egy csoportos tárlatukon is, de végül visszaköltözött szülővárosába. Számos kiállítása volt még Bukarestben, Erdély nagyvárosaiban és 1937-től több alkalommal Budapesten is. 1930-ban Kós Károllyal megalapították a Barabás Miklós Céhet. Szinte egész Erdélyt bejárta, és az ottani különleges színek és fények ábrázolása lett későbbi képeinek jellegzetessége. Irodalmi művekhez is készített illusztrációkat. Műveit a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában és számos erdélyi múzeumban őrzik.
