Grafikus, festő. A budapesti Magyar Képzőművészeti Főiskolán tanult 1947-1949 között. Mesterei: Pór Bertalan, Varga Nándor Lajos, Bencze László. A miskolci művésztelepen dolgozott 1952-től. Az ipari táj festője. Hazai egyéni tárlatok mellett csoportos nemzetközi grafikai tárlatokon, így a Luganói Grafikai Biennálén, valamint Berlinben is bemutatta munkáit. Kollektív tárlaton szerepelt egyebek mellett a Műcsarnokban (1951-1953) és a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában (1968). Díjak: Munkácsy-díj (1952, 1962), a Munka Érdemrend Ezüst Fokozata (1955). Több díjat nyert grafikai bemutatókon. Hazai közgyűjteményekben a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában és Miskolcon, a Herman Ottó Múzeumban találhatók meg munkái.
