Share Liezen-Mayer, Sándor 's profie

Festő. A bécsi Képzőművészeti Akadémián tanult 1855-ben. Mestere: Karl von Blaas. 1856-1862 között a müncheni Képzőművészeti Akadémia antik osztályán folytatta művészeti tanulmányait. Mestere: Piloty. Münchenben élt. 1880-1883 között Stuttgartban a Képzőművészeti Akadémia igazgatója volt, majd visszatért Münchenbe. Romantikus stílusban főként történeti témájú képeket festett. Illusztrációval is sokat foglalkozott (Goethe Faustjához készített illusztrációkat). Kiállította munkáit a Műcsarnokban. Hagyatéka igen gazdag. Közgyűjteményben a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában található meg több képe.
