Festő. A budapesti Iparművészeti Iskolában Sándor Béla, Újváry Ignác és Körösfői-Kriesch
Aladár növendéke volt. Orosz hadifogsága alatt megalapozta az irkutszki Iparművészeti Iskolát.
1921-ben hazatért, és számos tárlaton mutatta be sötét tónusú tájképeit.
