Győrffy Sándor Kapolcs, 1951

Festő, grafikus, lapszerkesztő. Autodidakta. Mesterei: Bálint Endre, Barcsay Jenő. 1976-tól
a szentendrei Vajda Lajos Stúdió tagja. Eleinte festőként alkotott. Grafikákat és fotókat készít,
ismert mail-art művész. Számos művésztelepen dolgozott, ösztöndíjasként hosszabb
időt töltött Nyugat-Berlinben és az Egyesült Államokban. 1979-ben társalapítója volt az
ART-EL művészcsoportnak. 1997-ben alapító tagja a Muravidék Baráti Kör Kulturális Egyesületnek,
a Muravidék című kulturális folyóirat főszerkesztője. 1975-től kiállító művész. Mind
hazai, mind külföldi tárlatokon (Fészek Klub, Budapest Galéria, Szépművészeti Múzeum,
Szentendre, Berlin, Denver, stb.) szerepelt műveivel. 2002-ben részt vett a Műcsarnokban a
Vajda Lajos Stúdió jubileumi kiállításán. Alkotásai megtalálhatóak a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában,
a miskolci Herman Ottó Múzeumban és a szentendrei Ferenczy Múzeumban.
