Share Csohány, Kálmán 's profie
Grafikus, illusztrátor, festő, kerámikus. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán szerzett diplomát 1952-ben. Mesterei: Ék Sándor, Koffán Károly, Konecsni György. 1959-ben Derkovits-ösztöndíjat kapott, 1964-ben és 1967-ben Munkácsy-díjjal tüntették ki. 1974-ben Érdemes Művész lett, az 1960-70-es években sok kiállítás első díját nyerte el műveivel. Aktív szerepet vállalt a kor képzőművészeti szervezeteiben. 1953-tól az országos kiállítások rendszeres résztvevője volt. Egyéni kollekcióval szerepelt 1964-ben a Velencei Biennálén, 1966-ban Bécsben, 1978-ban Teheránban. A Magyar Nemzeti Galériában 1982-ben emlékkiállítást rendeztek műveiből. Szülővárosában, Pásztón emlékmúzeuma nyílt 1996-ban. Monográfia: Solymár I.: Csohány Kálmán, Bp. 1976, Supka M.: Csohány Kálmán, Bp., 1986.
