Bihari, Sándor Diófás, 1855 - 1906, Budapest
His career began with the Pattern Drawing School, followed by the Academy of Vienna, then on to Paris to become a pupil of J.P. Laurens. This is where he met Lajos Deák Ébner, who invited him to Szolnok in 1885-1886; Bihari took part in the establishment of the artist colony of Szolnok in 1902. In the 1890s he undertook visits to Holland, Belgium, Munich and Italy with fellow painters.
