Czeizing, Lajos Újpest, 12.05.1922. - 03.09.1985., Budapest

Photographer, photo illustrator.

1940: He graduated from the textile high school and then studied for three years at the Violin Department of Music Academy. He only gave up his violin studies because of the war. After the Second World Burn, he lived a "double life", he was one of the founders of the Győri Weaving Company, from 1945 to 1954 he was the chief engineer, while he played at the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra led by András Kórody as the first violinist.

He has been photographed as an autodidact since he was 12 years old. He made his first pictures with a self-made camera obscura. From 1954: He moved to Budapest, and he was the photographer of the Fine Arts Publishing Company, and then he was the head of the Photo department.

After 1970: He worked as an independent photographer.

Founding member of the Hungarian Association of Photographers (1956). Member of MADOME, then member of the Board.

He photographed many postcards, illustrations of tourist publications. With his pictures, he didn't just want to document, but he always sought to achieve an artistic experience. "What I do is from an emotion, an inner feeling, that is certainly related to my musical past, because only music can launch something in crescend and in decrescence, inspire and elevate."

He photographed in countless countries, including Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece, Spain, and much in Hungary. He has done a lot to improve the artistic quality of postcards, over 100 cards circulated in tens of thousands of copies in the country and abroad.

He has published several articles in the Fotó. His recordings were mainly published in calendars and tourist publications. He is a master of urban and landscape art and genre photography. With his artistic photos he has often performed at domestic and international exhibitions, won several honors and awards.
