Festő. Az Iparművészeti Iskolában végzett 1927-ben, mesterei Stein János, Simai Imre és Szentiványi Gyula voltak. Freskói, oltárképei közel 300 hazai templomban megtalálhatóak, a többi közt a budapesti Rózsa téri görög katolikus templomban, illetve több egri és Eger környéki templomban. Munkáira derűs, egyéni színvilág jellemző, vallási témáit gyakran ötvözte a matyók életéből vett motívumokkal. 1992 óta van állandó kiállítása Mezőkövesden.
