Szobrász. A Képzőművészeti Főisk.-n Sidló Ferenc osztályába járt. Az I. világháború után Németo.-ban dolgozott iparművészként. 1930-ban megkapta a Szinyei Társaság zsűrijének kitüntetését. Számos kollektív kiállításon szerepelt mint a Munkácsy Céh tagja. A korabeli kritika elismerően emeli ki e tárlatok anyagai közül fa- és gipszfiguráit. Komoly szakmai sikere volt a Nemzeti Szalonban 1932-ben, amikor megkapta a Biró Henrik-díjat. 1933-ban a Ferenc József jubileumi díj pályázaton dicséretben részesült. 1943-ban a Műcsarnok tavaszi tárlatán elnyerte a Képzőművészek Egyesületének díját. Az 1970-es évek elején restaurálta Kőszeg műemlékeit. 1970-ben avatták fel Kispesten Jahn Ferenc-emlékművét, de ismert tatabányai háborús emlékműve is. Néhány munkája ~ Frigyes megjelöléssel szerepel.
