Share Mendlik, Lajos 's profie
Festő, grafikus. Mendlik Oszkár unokaöccse. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán tanult. Mesterei: Bosznay István, Edvi Illés Aladár. Akvarell-díjat nyert főiskolai évei alatt. Többször járt külföldi tanulmányúton. 1953-ban alapító tagja a budapesti pedagógusok képzőművészeti stúdiójának. Középiskolai tanár volt negyven évet át. Rajzot és művészettörténetet tanított a budapesti Vörösmarty Mihály Gimnáziumban. Dolgozott a vörösberényi, a keszthelyi, a soproni, a veszprémi és a szigligeti művésztelepen. Szinte kizárólag akvarellfestéssel foglalkozott. 1927-től állított ki a Nemzeti Szalonban. Hazai egyéni és csoportos tárlatokon szerepelt, néhány alkalommal külföldön is bemutatta munkáit. Hazai közgyűjteményben egyebek mellett a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában és a székesfehérvári Szent István Király Múzeumban találhatók alkotásai.
