Festő. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett 1910-ben. Mesterei: Ferenczy Károly, Hegedűs László. A főiskola befejezése után hosszabb tanulmányutat tett Párizsban, és a nagybányai művésztelepen is képezte magát. 1919-től Szegeden működött. Az 1910-es évektől kiállító művész, többször szerepeltek alkotásai a bécsi Sezessionban is. 1927-ben a Nemzeti Szalonban állított ki nagyobb kollekciót. Egyéni kiállítása volt 1956-ban a szegedi Móra Ferenc Múzeumban. 1958-ban szerepelt ugyanitt a szegedi művészek retrospektív tárlatán. 1968-ban a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában rendeztek emlékkiállítást műveiből. Több képe található a szegedi Móra Múzeum gyűjteményében.
