Festő. Tanulmányait 1949-1953 között a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végezte.Mesterei: Barcsay Jenő, Domanovszky Endre, Szőnyi István. 1957-ben Munkácsy-díjjal, 1973-ban a Képcsarnok csendélet pályázatának harmadik díjával tüntették ki. A vásárhelyi művésztelep tagja volt a hatvanas években. 1953-tól szerepel kiállításokon. 1962-ben, az Ernst Múzeumban rendeztek képeiből egyéni kiállítást. Művei találhatók a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában és a hódmezővásárhelyi Tornyai János Múzeumban. Murális alkotásai
láthatók a többi közt Keszthelyen, Sárospatakon, Pécsen.
