TAMÁS' BOOK 13/03/2010

Tamás könyve (Tamás' Book) is not simply a book among the numerous ones which present one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century. Not simply the story of a boy, who disappeared int he storm of holocaust and not simply the painful document of the psichological trauma of a father and a sister.
The drama of a family, a town, a country is evolving from the pages of the book. The letters in Hungarian, the photos and documents had been hidden in the attic of a house in Milan for six decades. These documents make the reader able to see one of the most painful events of world history in a peculiar way, not from the usual, outsider, objective point of view. This book makes the reader participate, it induces emotion, passion and gives the experience of complete involvement and catharsis.

The book can be purchased at the gallery (price: HUF 4,500).

and art collections,

Exhibitions
The Kieselbach Gallery - besides its art dealing activity - arrange exhibitions with great success from time to time. These exhibitions are highly appreciated by the profession and the audience as well. The topics of the shows perfectly mirror the taste of the owner of the gallery, and also his preferances in Hungarian art. The exhibitions have been arranged so far; some of them has shown oeuvres of particular painters, some of them have represented periods and trends and some of them have illustrated creative attitudes.
