She was trained at the Applied Drawing School and then at the School of Applied Arts where her masters were Manó Vesztróczy and Károly Kernstok. From 1916 to 1919 she was a pupil of Béla Iványi Grünwald at the Kecskemét artists colony. From 1920 to 1924 she lived in Germany with her husband Vilmos Perlrott Csaba. In the middle of the 1920s she lived in Paris most of the time, but painted in Nagybánya as well. From 1928 on she worked in Hungary and was elected as a member of KUT.
