Zsitvay, János

Painter, restorer. He studied at the predecessor of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in the late 19th century. He worked as a drawing-teacher in Selmecbánya. He made several portraits for the invitation of the Bulgarian king. He was in charge of restoring and mending to the gallery of the Coburgs.
